SOLD: JUNE 2017 - West Tisbury Land and a Vineyard Haven Home.

At the beginning of the month Tea Lane helped a buyer secure the purchase of a pretty piece of West Tisbury land on Flint Hill Road. The 3.32 acre parcel sold on June 1st for $725,000.

West Tisbury is conveniently located in the center of the Island and is close to either "up island" for beaches, farms, and countryside, or "down island" for towns, shops, restaurants etc.  A primarily rural community, with two great schools, the West Tisbury Elementarty School and the Marthas Vineyard Public Charter School, West Tisbury is also known for its weekly farmers market and annual Agricutural Fair, which is a summer Vineyard highlight during the third week of August.

Indian Hill Road is close to beaches, at Long Point and lamberts Cove, and magnificent trails and bike paths at Cedar Tree Neck and the State Forest.

At the end of the month, we closed on another great property in Vineyard Haven.  After only 25 days on market Tea Lane secured the full asking price of $619,500 of 320 Daggett Avenue, a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home on just over one acre.

Vineyard Haven, also known as Tisbury, but not to be confused with WEST Tisbury,  is a year-round town,  where our lifeline, the Steamship Authority Ferry connects us to the mainland 365 days a year (weather permitting).  A busy harbor town, with a wonderful New England main street, great shops and restaurants, an elementary school, theater, two movie theaters, a town hall and town beaches at Tashmoo, Eastville and Owen Park.
