Whilst most of the island was on the school winter break Tea Lane was busy closing on properties up island.

A very welcome relief from the doldrums of winter is The Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival which comes around again this weekend. In its 17th year the Festival has evolved to become one of the highlights of the Vineyard calendar and by the looks of this weekend’s schedule we have some treats in store!

The Red Stocking Fund is Martha's Vineyard's answer to Santa and his elves.  This entirely volunteer staffed non-profit was started during the Great Depression by two local women knitting stockings, and filling them with a few small toys as a way to give Island children in need of a Merry Christmas.
