LUXURY VACATION RETREAT NEAR BEACHES AND HIKING TRAILS
Located in the beautiful, private enclave of Stonegate - just one mile from one of the most beautiful and quietly known beaches on the island - Wilfrid’s Pond Preserve (Land Bank) on the Vineyard Sound, which also includes a nature study/hiking past coastal ponds. Another 1/2 mile, and you are at the Lake Tashmoo Town Beach, which is another choice destination for fabulous sunsets besides Menemsha.
This fabulous, and recently completely updated vacation retreat boasts a gorgeous new kitchen with 6-burner gas Wolf range, extra large prep island with seating, and built-in wine refrigerator. The kitchen is open to the dining (seating for 10) and living area with high ceilings and tons of natural light. A quiet/private media room, down the hall, provides a comfortable chaise sectional and large screen TV, excellent Wifi/internet service.
The first floor king bedroom has an ensuite bath with dual sinks, a soaking tub and glass walk-in shower. French doors lead to a cozy spot to enjoy coffee on the deck. The first floor has an additional guest suite with queen bed and a bathroom adjacent to the bedroom, in the hall, with tub/shower.
The finished walk-out lower level has a large, second family room with built-in office space to catch up on emails and seating area with an additional large screen TV. The game area includes a ping pong table, and glass sliders lead to a beautiful stone patio area. Two additional guest bedrooms are on this floor - one with a king bed, and the other with two double beds both share a a full bath.
This home has central air conditioning in the main living area, and mini-splits in each bedroom. The stone terrace has outdoor furniture with patio table and chairs, and gas grill. There is a lovely Koi Pond off the patio area, please be aware for those with young children, must be monitored at all times for safety.
