And no trip to Aquinnah would be complete without visiting the Gay Head Lighthouse. In the evening, relax on the deck with views of Chilmark and Menemsha Hills, or from the back deck, enjoy a vista to the Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands in the distance - and of course the Lighthouse! The bus stop at the Aquinnah Circle Shops can take you to the rest of the island, although having a car to explore the island is ideal!.
