2018 end of year closings - Going out with a bang!

Seven closings realised over $13,000,000 in sales for Tea Lane during the last 2 months of 2018 including the highest residential sale for the year in West Tisbury.

At the end of November Tea Lane Associates brought the buyer of an 18.5 acre lot on the South Shore including 1/10 tenant in common the 141 acres of conservation land and exclusive rights to 35 acre Big Homer Pond for beach access to the South shore private association beach. Boardering Long Point Preserve,  The Hadley Lot at South Shore Estates sold for $5,410,000 was part of a larger compound owned by Jerry DeBlois.  The remaining 22.2 acres that includes a 4 bedroom beach front home with saltwater pool and tennis court on the market for sale for $14,500,000.

 

Our two other November closings were:

12 Bayberry Lane in Vineyard Haven was purchased for $1,450,000 on November 19th 2018.  Tea Lane Asscociates represented the buyer for this 4 bedroom 4 bath brand new home in Tashmoo Woods, with association North shore beach,  tennis courts and community swimming pool. 

Built in 1756 and lovingly restored in 2015, this 4 bed 4 bath home on 1.5 acres at 217 Indian Hill Road in West Tisbury was sold to buyer clients of Tea lane for $1,950,000 on November 28th.

 

In December we ended the year with the following closings:

141 Waldrons Bottom Road - was purchased by buyer clients of ours looking for a great investment and rental opportunity. This turn key 4 bedroom 4 bath home is located on the road to Long Point beach in West Tisbury was a great buy for our clients, who plan to rent the home and use it in the off season.  The home was purchased for $1,475,000 on December 10th 2018.  We will be offering it as a new rental property for the 2019 season. 

We wrote about 24 North Slope Lane on our blog earlier this year.  This fabulous 3.9 acre waterview property comprises of a 3 bedroom single story summer home, built in 1971, with detatched 1 bedroom studio and in situated off North Road. The sloping land allows for commanding 180 degree views of the North Shore, Elizabeth Islands and the Vineyard's exquiste sunsets. Our buyer clients purchased the property on December 13th for $1,317,000 and rather than rennovate the current home, they plan to rebuild their dream home in the current location.  

On December 14th we closed on 41 Stoney Hill Lane.   Tea Lane represented the buyers for this cute home in this sought after West Tisbury location off Old County Road. the 2110 square foot home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with access to community tennis and swimming pool.  The purchase price was $765,000.

Then on Christmas Eve, our listing at 130 South Road Chilmark closed for $987,500. This lovely 4 bedroom 3 bath rennovated farmhouse with original beams and wooden walls, was listed in June 2018, and took only 155 days on market to sell.
