Hot Property! What’s sold so far this summer!
With no less than 6 property closings already since the end of June, we are set for a continuing busy August and September here at Tea Lane Associates. This is the time, when renters, buyers and sellers are enjoying the Vineyard and thoughts of owning, upgrading, down-sizing are on the minds of our summer visitors.
2017 has been a busy year and many sales came to fruition this past month including:
15 Crowell Lane, West Tisbury - a charming old Vineyard home, barn/guesthouse and garage/studio with all character that the island holds dear. Set within two ponds and surrounded by stone walls and lawn, and built in the late 1700's, this property was originaly moved by oxen from Indian Hill and has been in the same family for three generations. Located in Seven Gates Farm Association, with private beaches, ponds, tennis courts and walking trails. Tea Lane represented the seller in the transaction which closed on July 11th for $1,575,000.
Huseby Mountain Farm also in West Tisbury closed 14th July 2017 for $2,300,000. Tea Lane represented the seller of this 26 plus acre parcel of land that is divided into three buildable lots.
On the 25th July we had two closings:
A foreclosure transaction at 83 State Road, Aquinnah for $949,000. Tea Lane represented the buyer.
and 27 Clambelly Road, a sweet three bedroom Chilmark home on just over 3 acres that sold quickly for $850,000 after returning to the market this spring.
Tea Lane Associates represented the buyer of this substantial Vineyard Haven home close to town, the library, and the Vineyard Haven yacht club. 55 Tashmoo Avenue is a 2,500 square foot home with 4 bedroom, 4 full and 2 half bathrooms, and a gargage on just under a quarter acre. It closed on 28th July for $880,000
On August 1st we also sold a lovely Lamberts Cove home for, $1,812,500. Number 290 Lamberts Cove Road is situated opposite the entrance to coveted Lamberts Cove beach, West Tisbury. The home was originally built in 1910 and offers all the features of a lovely period home, with wonderful open plan, updated kitchen, dining, living rooms and 6 bedrooms and fantastic outdoor space on its 4.3 acres. Included in the sale was a completely new 6 bedroom septic system.
