Happy Valentines Day! I guess it was love at first sight for the Tea Lane Associates' buyers who closed on this Chilmark home on February 2nd. This lovely contemporary farmhouse on Sheep Hill Road, off South Road, came on the market earlier in 2016 and closed for $1,700,000 last week. With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms on 3.5 acres - some may remember it as the house that had the soccer pitch (the previous owners have a rising soccer star in the family!).

The new owners of 3 Sunset Way can look forward to long relaxing summer evenings enjoying the famous Aquinnah sunsets from which their new address was no doubt inspired!

The Red Stocking Fund is Martha's Vineyard's answer to Santa and his elves.  This entirely volunteer staffed non-profit was started during the Great Depression by two local women knitting stockings, and filling them with a few small toys as a way to give Island children in need of a Merry Christmas.
