Featherstone Center for the Arts is a cultural mecca for all kinds creative endeavours on Martha's Vineyard. The mission of Featherstone is to create a community arts space for the Vineyard's year round residents and summer visitors. Winter workshops, including life drawing and pottery classes, chocolate festivals and various shows give way to kids art camps, adult classes, and the Flea market during the summer months. With new events being added all the time to the brand new multi million dollar gallery space, pottery studio and arts center.

New for summer 2018 is a writing workshop facilited by island author Lara o'Brien. Arriving on the island many people switch from busy working lives to calm and tranquil down time. It is also a great time to reflect on your family, loved ones, life and focus.
Irish Author and workshop facilitator, Lara O'Brien, has announced a new writing workshop schedule to do just that. Starting July 9th, Monday-Thursday 1- 4.30 pm at the recently donated Schule Chapel on the beautiful grounds of Featherstone for the Arts, a busy center for creative inspiration and a perfect place to write your stories.
